Applying for the PAN card is not as easy as registering a new Facebook account. You just have to fill in the basic details, provide your valid Aadhaar card number and in less than ten minutes you will get your PAN card in a soft copy. In the process of generating the instant PAN card, you just have to give your Aadhaar card number and no other documents are required in the process. Once the Aadhaar card number is given, you will receive an OTP on the Aadhaar registered mobile number which you have to furnish during the process. After completion of the process, the soft copy of the instant PAN will be sent to the e-mail address as registered with the Aadhaar database.

The entire process will not take more than ten minutes. The PAN card is generated in an electronic format and it is known as an e-PAN card. The e-PAN card is generated in PDF format and you can get the same on your email address which you have registered with the Aadhaar database.

  • Click on the “Get new PAN” button
  • Enter your Aadhaar card number
  • Fill in the captcha and tick the confirmation box

  • Input your OTP and submit the form
  • If your Aadhaar details are valid, you will then asked for giving your email address, which is optional
  • On the final submission, a 15 digit acknowledgment number will be generated and sent to your mobile number and e-mail address. Keep this number handy for future reference

  • Click on the “Check Status/Download PAN” button

  • On the next screen, you will be able to check the status of your PAN
